Forest Investment Club
We are a small group of women interested in improving our knowledge about investments and the process of buying and selling stocks. We meet the first Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. and we are open to new members.
Golf
The group meets every Tuesday morning throughout the year. We golf 9 holes (unless some decide to stay on for an additional 9) at Kingwood Cove in Forest Cove. Cost is just under $11 and includes a cart or you can walk. We have golfers of all levels and new golfers are welcome to join us at any time. You are not obligated to golf every week - we just ask that you let us know if you're coming so we can know who to wait for.

Heartbeat Bears
Den of Good Bears of the World; a Non-Profit Organization that gifts bears to children and the elderly through our donations of bears to hospitals, nursing homes, and our individual members. New members are always welcome! Our meetings are the third Wednesday of the month from August to June and the location and time (generally 10:30 AM) varies

A Chinese tile game with an American twist. We play EVERY Monday from 10-3. Members bring a sack lunch with the hostess providing drinks, dessert, and snacks. Natl. Mahjong League rules are followed. $3 per player. We have openings for experienced players and are willing to teach new people another day of the week. Weekly participation is necessary. The evening group plays on Thurday, but is open only to experienced players who can be put on the sub list as it is currently full..

A Hi Neighbor group of senior women who enjoy going places and doing things with others who are without a partner. Regular meeting time is a monthly potluck dinner at the home of a member. At this meeting, plans for activities for the month will be discussed. Membership is open to any single senior.
Scrabble
Scrapbook
Group meets at 9:30AM to 12:30PM on the 4th Thursday each month. It is fun to see everyone's scrapbook and share techniques. It is a great motivator to get away from home and work on those scrapbooks or get one started. We would love to have you join us!
Shanghai
Group meets 11:00 am on the 2nd or 3rd Monday each month. Play shanghai card game and enjoy lunch at Fudruckers.

Theatre
The Hi Neighbor Theatre Group centers around the Arts. Our group attends theatre performances at locations around the Houston area. Sometimes the productions are Broadway Touring Companies while others are local productions. We always enjoy dinner before the show at different restaurants. Upcoming events will be posted in the newsletter, monthly updates, and on the website (members only section). This group is open to all members. Cost covers ticket, service charge and transportation. Reservations need to be made about 6 to 8 weeks before the event. A check holds the member's reservation.
Top Shelf Readers (formerly Book Group I)
Group meets once a month, September through May, on the second Monday of each month at 10:00 AM in members' homes. We generally select books we want to read at the September meeting, after getting summations, reviews etc. from our Book Selection Committee which meets in summer to compile a list for our consideration. We all read the book and engage in discussion led by a member who has agreed in advance to be the discussion leader. We have special meetings in December and May. We have 20+ members. We are open for a few new members. Hope to have great books and lively discussion and friendships that deepen.

We have 34 members and take the first 15 that RSVP. We are open to new members and will increase the group that gathers monthly.
